Isn't it racist and arrogant to call Jews chosen?

"Chosen" doesn't mean "privileged" or "entitled." It refers to a unique covenant that you have with G-d. This is responsibility.

(BTW, if any nation wants to claim "choseness" and be a light unto the nations through being an example of righteous behavior, I'm not going to stop them.)
