Is it forbidden to write on Chol Hamoed?

PRINT EMAIL COMMENT On Chol Hamoed we are supposed to try to refrain from doing work that requires particular skill or expertise. Writing is a skill which one acquires and is therefore a form of work that should be avoided. If one must write (for the sake of the holiday or a timely issue) s/he should write differently than s/he usually does. For example: write with the other hand.
