Does the establishment of the State of Israel fulfill the Messianic Prophesies?

Jewish Law clearly indicates that the Messiah will be the one who will gather all the exiled Jews and rebuild the Temple, ushering in the Era of Redemption.

This does not preclude Jews from settling in the Land of Israel before then. To the contrary, living in the Land of Israel is considered to be a great Mitzvah, and living there certainly allows a person to be a more spiritual person.

the Redemption which the Messiah will bring... will include (amongst other things) a return of all Jews to the Jewish land, and to the laws of Judaism

However, Zionism and the modern State of Israel are not a substitute for the Redemption which the Messiah will bring. That redemption, which we eagerly await, will include (amongst other things) a return of all Jews to the Jewish land, and to the laws of Judaism. It will bring peace and security to our holy land and to the entire world.

May we witness the coming of our righteous Moshiach now. Amen.

Mitzvah

(pl. Mitzvot). A commandment from G-d. Mitzvah also means a connection, for a Jew connects with G–d through fulfilling His commandments.

Moshiach

The Messiah. Moshiach is the person who will usher in an era of peace and tranquility for all of humanity when there will be no jealousy or hate, wars or famine. This is a fundamental Jewish belief.

Temple

1. Usually a reference to the Holy Temple which was/will be situated in Jerusalem. 1st Temple was built in 825 BCE and was destroyed in 423 BCE. The 2nd Temple was built in 350 BCE and was destroyed in 70 CE. The 3rd Temple will be built by the Messiah. 2. A synagogue.
