Rabbi Shlomo Chein: Welcome. I'll be with you in a moment...what's on your mind?

Noah: I'm toyveling [Editor's note: immersing] my dishes and need help. when putting them in water, how long do they have to be out of my hands?

Rabbi Shlomo Chein: just enough time for water to reach where your hands were - which is usually about a second or less

Noah: ok, thanks...

Noah: and depth of water?

Rabbi Shlomo Chein: as long as the water can cover the entire dish at once it doesn't matter how deep the water is in the part of the Mikvah you Toivel [Ed. note: providing that the Mikvah in general has the required amount of water]

Noah: thanks so much i appreciate your help!

Rabbi Shlomo Chein: pleasure

Noah: take care
