Rabbi Eliezer G: Welcome to the Rabbi's one on one chat room, how can I help you today?

Viewer: Hello and Shalom.I was wanting to ask your opinion on a very personal matter. Does Judaism consider pornography a sin?

Rabbi Eliezer G: pornography is certainly sinful in two ways

Viewer: Please explain

Rabbi Eliezer G: one, it leads to sin, either in masturbation or in illicit sex

Rabbi Eliezer G: and second, it is itself a corruption of the mind as it forces us to think lustful and sinful thoughts

Rabbi Eliezer G: which is itself sinful

Viewer: I had thought so Thank You.

Rabbi Eliezer G: your welcome
