Rabbi Tilles: Shalom-Welcome. I'll be with you in a moment. You can start typing your question if you like.

Max: shalom, how we are going to recognize the Moshiach?

Rabbi Tilles: Through :)

Max: lerning Torah, we can recognize the moshiach?

Rabbi Tilles: That will help. Thje first qualification for Moshiach is that he be great in Torah -- learning and teaching.

Max: do u think that the one of his first action will be the rebuild of the Temple??

Rabbi Tilles: According to Maimonides1, the the major authority in this area, first to teach Torah and influence others to follow in its ways, second to fight the "wars of God", third to build the Temple, fourth to gather the exiles to israel.

Max: ohhh ok ok

Rabbi Tilles: He says that only after these four are accomplished can we be sure that this is Moshiach.

Rabbi Tilles: But he says that after the first two, he can be considered a probable candidate.2

Max: i see, thank u so much , for ur time
