The standard fruit blessing—Borei Pri Haetz.

The Hagafen blessing (“He Who creates the fruit of the vine”) is only recited on wine (or grape juice), the "king of beverages," due to its unique and special nature—“wine cheers man's heart.”1

  • 1. Psalms 104:15.
