Rabbi Simcha Backman

Rabbi Simcha Backman is the director of In addition, Rabbi Backman serves as the spiritual leader of Chabad of Glendale and the Foothill Communities -- serving Glendale, La Cañada-Flintridge, La Crescenta, Montrose and Verdugo City -- in sunny southern California, where he resides with his wife Shterna and their children.

Raised in Suburban New York, Rabbi Simcha Backman joined the Rabbinate in 1997 after graduating with high honors from the Central Yeshiva Rabbinical College. He is listed in the Who's who of American Universities and Colleges and is on the Dean's List of college graduates.
