Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Rabbi Levertov studied in Yeshivot in Brooklyn, Montreal and Melbourne. He was ordained by the Rabbinical College of America and has taken part in Jewish outreach programs in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ghana. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
